My summer with the Marketing team has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to gain hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and creative design. From supporting the organization’s broader goals to having my own designs posted on social media, it’s been surreal to see my work come to life in the real world.
One of my biggest highlights was participating in the company’s rebranding process. Getting to contribute to such a major shift and seeing it unfold in real time made the experience even more meaningful.
I truly enjoyed working with my team—not only are they all extremely talented, they’re also experts in their field. I learned so much just by being around them. I also made amazing connections with my fellow interns, who I can now confidently call my friends.
Another standout part of the internship was the weekly leadership roundtables. They offered insight into both professional growth and personal development—advice I’ll carry with me well beyond this summer. Everyone at the Pension Boards genuinely wants to help and see each other succeed, and that kind of support is rare and special.
