I am very grateful for the opportunity to participate in the Pension Boards’ Summer Internship Program as part of the Member Services Team. I contributed my time to serving both members and employers, while also taking on responsibilities from the team to enhance my experience and gain valuable knowledge.
Within just a few weeks of joining the Pension Boards, I learned about the daily systems used in our operations, including Focus 360, Fidelity, NetSuite, MMS, and more. I excitedly took on significant responsibilities, prioritizing knowledge acquisition and striving for excellence.
One aspect that strongly resonated with me and that I will carry throughout my career is the Pension Boards’ culture. It is refreshing to see how individuals from all different backgrounds have come together to create a welcoming, knowledgeable, and progressive team. I am forever grateful to have been chosen for this experience.
